Classic Program 4 days / 3 nights
Day 1:
Cusco - Huayllabamba
Transportation from your hotel by a
private bus, between 07 a.m. and 07:30 a.m. towards
Ollantaytambo, and the continue to the Km. 82 where
the trakking begins, it is 16-kilometer long and it
is one of the easiest routes with small difficulties
and many natural attractions like the canyon formed
by the Vilcanota River and snow-covered mountains
closed to small towns like Llactapata, Kanabamba,
Huayllabamba.
We will camp near to Huayllabamba
the first night and over the 3000 m.s.n.n. (10 000
f.o.s.l.).
Day 2:
Huayllabamba - Runkurakay
After breakfast we will continue
ascending to the 4 200 ms.n.m. (13 780 feet), it is
the highest point and then we will descend to the
3300 m.s.n.m. (10 826 feet) and this way we will
have finished the most difficult part of the route.
It is a 6 to8-hour trip as an average according the
rate of the passenger.
Day 3:
Runkurakay - Wiñaywayna
This day is completely different, due the
flora and fauna we will see closed to the jungle,
and the most amazing Inca constructions such as
Runkurakay, Phuyupatamarca, Tunel Inka, Wiñaywayna
strategically located and Inka Trails that even
today keep its originality. Then we will arrive to
the campsite of Wiñayhuayna near to the
archaeological complex of the same name.
Day 4:
Wiñaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco
This day we will have breakfast early in the
morning and then we will leave before 05:00 a.m. and
then we will walk for two hours in order to arrive
to our objective, the citadel of Machu Picchu and
this way we will tour the place before other
tourists come.

altitude sickness, snacks (coca leafs), etc.
