Urubamba River Expedition 1 day
This section is called Chuquicahuana and
it's a part of the Urubamba River. It is
classified as class II, III and III+. This
section has continous rapids and it's great
fun!
Briefing (night before departure):
pre-departure information: description of the river,
navigation, what to bring, etc.
RAFTING DAY:
Morning:

Departure at 8 am, passengers
will be collected from hotel.

Safety briefing followed by
practice in the river, after which we'll begin to
run Class II and III rapids.

We will be running the river for
two hours.
-
We'll arrive to the end of the
trip at 15h00/16h00.
Lunch:
WHAT TO BRING:

Shorts (Obligatory, to wear over
wet-suit).

Bathing costume, sandals.

Sun Block.
-
Insect repellent.
